Information Collected And How It is Used.

The goal for our web site is to provide a flow of fresh, dynamic content and the ongoing development of new features that will provide helpful tools for members of our industry. At the time of this reading, some of the features mentioned below may not yet be available. However, these policies will govern their use as their development is completed and they become available.

When you visit our site    Each time you visit us, our web server automatically recognizes only your domain name and collects basic information, such as your browser version, to help us best serve your viewing and shopping needs. This data includes the pages you visit, types of items purchased, and site/service feedback. You must login as a "Registered User" or "AMA Member" to utilize the convenient features and savings offered to registered site users and members.

When You Register on the Site.  Registration enables us to personalize your viewing experience, and permits access to additional resources and member-only sections. To insure that only desired information mailings are sent, Registration does not automatically place you on any mailing lists for news letters, new site feature notices, etc. To receive these mailings, you must first grant permission by checking the appropriate box during registration

When You Log In.   For security purposes, all guests are required to "Log In" when making a purchase. After entering your name and e-mail address, when you click the Submit button, you will be transferred to our secure server where sensitive information is encrypted for maximum security during transmission. The log in information is solely for security purposes, and does not enroll you as an AMA Member.

When purchasing an item.   Our site uses PayPal to process items available for purchase from AMA. The Order form contact information, such as e-mail address, telephone numbers, address, etc. are used to fulfill the order and provide information. Your contact information is also used to get in touch with you, if necessary, regarding a purchase. Financial information, such as credit card numbers, expiration dates, billing address, are used to bill you for products and services. Email special promotion notices are sent only to guests and members who have granted prior permission by checking the appropriate box at time of registration. An Opt-Out link is also provided in each email so a recipient may remove their name from the list at any time.

When You Use The "Tell-An-Associate" Option.   This feature allows you to share information about AMA's site with friends or associates. We neither share nor retain the information, nor do we contact the individual other than to send your personal message and referral link to the AMA web site.

When You Use Our Contact Form.   When you request information using the AMA Contact Form, your information is retained only until we have satisfactorily responded to your inquiry. Your name and email address from that correspondence are not retained for any future marketing initiatives or contact.

When You Subscribe To An AMA Newsletter or Report.    These are sent only to Registered Users and AMA Members who request them. To insure that you have personally requested a subscription, prior to its activation you will receive an email requesting your confirmation of the subscription. Upon receipt of the confirmation, your e-mail address will be added to the Newsletter Subscriber Database so that we can send you each new quarterly issue. As with all other information collected by Advanced Materials Associates, the database is never sold, rented, or shared with any outside company, organization, affiliate, or individual. An Opt-out link is also included with each issue so that you may unsubscribe at any time.

When You Complete A Survey.   AMA occasionally conducts surveys from the site in which we ask you for demographic information and opinions. No contact information is requested in regard to the survey, and the data provided is used solely for the purpose of better understanding the needs and interests of guests and clients.
